Prof. Nurit Stadler

Nurit Stadler is a sociologist and anthropologist of religion whose research focuses on sacred spaces, pilgrimage, and the politics of embodiment. Her most recent book, Voices of the Ritual (Oxford University Press), analyzes the making and management of sacred female places in Holy Land shrines and has since served as a basis for comparative studies in India and Europe.
