Current Projects

I am developing a research project titled “Hometowns in the Margins: The Emotional Geographies of Palestinian Arab Youth in Israel”, which explores how Palestinian young people in Israel relate emotionally to their hometowns amid structural marginalization, spatial fragmentation, and contested identities. The project integrates emotional geographies with youth studies, using ethnographic and participatory methods. In parallel, I am continuing a previous project on the gendered and spatial dimensions of community violence and organized crime, focusing on its emotional impact on young Palestinian Arab women in Israel.
