Dr. Chiara Caradonna

I was lucky enough to enjoy a very smooth passage from being a Buber Fellow to joining the Faculty of Humanities at the Hebrew University. I could stay on the same campus, surrounded by many colleagues with whom I shared the same path that led from Buber to HebrewU. The importance of such friendships and connections dating back from our years at Buber can hardly be overstated. As we moved into the academic workplace, with all its challenges and complications, these relations that were consolidated during our postdoc have proved to be incredibly strengthening and encouraging. The years at Buber were not only years of academic and professional apprenticeship, but also, and more importantly, built a long-lasting and trusted community.
