This week, we hit the road for our annual spring tour—this time exploring the Western Galilee.
After a hike and a picnic in Nachal Kziv we headed to Shavei Zion, where Judy Temime, the local archivist, gave us a fascinating glimpse into the community’s roots and its unique connection to the village of Rexingen in Germany.
On the second day it was off to Acre, where activist Johawna Saifi guided us through the city’s complex social landscape from the Palestinian perspective. We got a deeper understanding of the diverse cultural fabric that defines life in Acre today. We wrapped it up with an interesting visit and talk with the local artist Walid Kashash
