We started the second day on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and Dr. Katharina Palmberger took us on a fascinating journey through history and architecture at the Tabgha Church.
The morning continued with a breathtaking visit to Mount Arbel guided by our fellow Dr. Moshe Yagur. The hike was invigorating, and the panoramic views from the summit were simply awe-inspiring, providing a perfect way to connect with nature and each other.
We concluded the day in Kfar Kama, where we had the pleasure of learning about the Circassian community, their unique culture, and their heritage. Dr. Alena Witzlack-Makarevich enlightened us with an explanation about the languages in the Caucasus and around it.
