Lecturer:
Dr. Martina Mampieri

Dr. Martina Mampieri hosted the "New Sources and Perspectives for the Study of Early Modern Jewish History: Texts and Contexts" workshop with Dr. Katherine Aron-Beller.

It was a wonderful time among early modern scholars. Through the analysis and discussion of a wide array of sources - including notarial records, dowries, folksongs, colophons, legal texts, travelogues, parish registers, and more - the workshop provided new insights into the early modern Jewish experience.

Participants also had the unique opportunity to enjoy an intimate concert of early modern Jewish-Italian music by Ensemble Nuria.

"I cannot be more thankful for having had the chance to wrap up my fellowship like this!" - Dr. Martina Mampieri
