Date:

Mon, 18/05/2020 - 10:30 to 12:30

Dr. Sophie Wagenhofer from De Gruyter talked to a combined group of Buber and Scholion Fellows on Monday, May 18. Speaking from her perspective as an editor in an academic publishing house, she discussed the dos and don’ts of publishing one’s first book. Among the topics she addressed were: how to find the right publisher, how to submit and revise the dissertation, what should a proposal look like, what to expect from the peer review process, how a contract looks like, and so on. The Zoom talk was followed by a session of questions and answers. At the end of this very useful session, Dr. Wagenhofer invited the follows to get in touch with her if they have further questions.
