On January 19th, as in the last couple of years, the Buber fellows gathered for a joint academic event with the Polonsly fellows, this time hosted by the MBSF . The event this time focused on Intersex people and politics. Dr Limor Meoded Danon, from the Buber Society fellows, lectured on the bio-politics of intersexed bodies, she describes how the medical system established the discourse on Intersex bodies, bodies with various sexual characteristics that are neither male nor female, or both male and female. She also described the many social and bodily conflicts surrounding intersexed people. After the lecture we saw the first Israeli documentary movie on intersex, "Third Person", directed by the film maker Sharon Luzon.
